Desert Rose

This is a piece I made as a gift, based on the Desert Rose plant originating from Africa. I wanted to try a style that's a little bit closer to Ghibli backgrounds. There are definitely a lot of aspects to their paintings that I'd like to study in more depth, but for now this was a really fun piece to do as a first attempt!
